- Hot, Hot, HOT!!! These are smokin Jeannette! Great stuff!
- Thanks Candy!
- wow, great job!! Cant wait to meet you Saturday:)
- Thanks Debbie! I totally am looking forward to Amber and Joe's wedding this coming Saturday and it will be a pleasure to meet you as well.
This past Sunday I met up with Ariel and Brian. I was introduced to this great couple by Hailley Leverty of L’event Bridal Consulting and Event Management. Hailley is going to be the the most fabulous worry-free day of the wedding task manager who will make sure that Ariel and Brian’s carefully planned event details are executed perfectly.
Ariel lives in the St. Anthony area and wanted to do an engagement session where she and Brian sometimes hang out. These two are such a great couple and with a love for the outdoors, beer and each other… I am excited that I get to shoot their wedding in an apple orchard this Fall!
We even got a chance to stop for a quick beer at Ariel and Brian’s favorite local “watering hole” while we were waiting for the sun to set.
- Jeannette! We love everything you have posted so far. Can't wait to see the whole set!
- Thanks Ariel ~ I can't wait for your wedding!!
- These pictures are so beautiful!!! You are a genius! I am sure the wedding pictures will be even more outstanding if that is even possible.
- J! These are great!! That second one is CRAZY beautiful!
- Oh, what a wonderful job, Jeannette! These pictures just took my breath away. And what a beautiful couple, Brian & Ariel!! I am so excited to work with all 3 of you at your wedding!!
- Thanks L'event!! It will be fun to work together at their wedding - totally looking forward to it.
I love pink and this session was all about it! Baby Eliana has a gentle demeanor and beautiful smile (especially when her big brother helps to make her laugh). It was perfect photographing her in her glamorous pink and drown bedroom – her top dresser drawer was the perfect place for Eliana to sit while being photographed.
- Thanks for the beautiful photos of Eliana! I'll cherish them forever! What fun we had!
- Thank you Darcy! It is always fun to photograph your family.
I was very excited to meet Nona and photograph her for her business head shots. We met up in Minneapolis and I came to find out that she lives less than 4 miles from my house in Wisconsin…. small world! Spring has sprung and it is once again time for fabulous outdoor business portraits. I love it and below are just a couple reasons why….
Can you believe it has been 6 months already… Baby Ramar is getting so big and so full of personality. Just can’t get enough of those chubby checks of his! This session we included Ramar’s two cousins.
It is not a party until you are photographing three babies. Thankfully my friend Erika Ward came with me and helped me out. Thanks Erika! Can you believe how cute these little ones are!?!?

Hellloooo there! Posting twice in one week. It is crazy I know…. but I have so much to share! I wanted to show you my first wedding of 2010! Kally and Adam are such an awesome couple and I had the complete privilege of photographing them at their wedding in the Sofitel Hotel in Minneapolis. I met Kally at Kristen and Ramar’s wedding – where Kally did Kristin’s makeup. Kally is an amazing makeup artist here in the Twin Cities – the girl ROCKS! Alright – I also have to mention that K & A have the most wonderful friends and family – spending the day with them all was a joy! I L.O.V.E. this job. I really do. Maybe it’s because it’s my heart and soul that goes into it. Every time I get asked to document this very special time in a couples journey I know the couple are entrusting in me precious memories that they will cherish for a lifetime – that totally rocks my world!
I am honored to have been your photographer Kally and Adam – I hope you LOVE your images!!
And there you have it – my first wedding in 2010!! And I need to add a BIG “Thank You” to my friend Sarah McGee who came along and was an amazing 2nd shooter for this wedding!! Until we meet again sweet readers.
- I can't help but giggle everytime I look at these! I can't wait to see the rest! Thank you Jeannette and Sarah. You have captured the life of my family and friends. Many thanks!
- These are the best wedding pictures I have ever seen! My favorite is Adam kissing Kally's forehead and her eyes are closed. I loved every minute of it! Love Mom!
- Beautiful work, Jeannette! Kally looks absolutely stunning! Love the dance/reception shots, looks like a blast :)
- Absolutely gorgeous pictures that captured the beautiful couple and family on their wedding day. I especially like the black and white photos and the first picture in the bar area. Thanks for sharing!! Elaine
- The pictures are just beautiful! What a beautiful day and pictures make me feel as if I were there!!
Meet Logan, she is an Amazing 2010 High School Senior! She is so talented and I loved how she brought along
things that she loves to her portrait session and we were able to incorporate them into her senior portraits. She also
was a trooper to go basically sliding down stairs and jumping over fences to get to sweet locations.
Check this session out!
I hope you have a fabulous senior year Logan!
It was such fun meeting and photographing this great family and their puppy. We met up in Stillwater and although it was a windy day we still managed to get beautiful images!
As I am just coming off a wonderful weekend filled with being thankful for a Fabulous life I am reminded of my “animal friends” that need our help – let me explain….
My really good friend, Katie of Kage Imagery, has worked with Home for Life: The Animal Sanctuary of St. Croix Valley for several years and the last two years I have helped her shoot their big charity fund raising events. My favorite part to the evening is when they bring in the animals. So when Katie said that they need photographers to help take pictures of the animals at Home for Life I was so excited!! I spent three afternoons at Home for Life being it was rainy for two of the days. Home for Life is a different kind of animal shelter in that it’s just that…their home for life. It houses animals that are unadoptable due to disability, temperament, age, health, etc.
When my husband found out I was going he was a little concerned being I have a hard time going to shelters because I want to adopt every animal in there and I cry my eyes out because I can’t have more pets than I already have. SO that is why it was perfect that I volunteer for Home for Life as those animals are not adoptable as this is their home for life!!
It was bitter sweet being at Home for Life as many of the animals are missing eyes, had been abused, paraplegic, or sick. It was not always easy to see. However, the 275 animals were so well taken care and loved. The staff knew each animal by name and the story behind each animal – it was amazing to see them lovin’ up the animals as they assisted me in getting the photographs. There were tons of beds, baskets, couches, hand made blankets, yards and toys for the animals.
The animals I photographed have sponsors and these images are going to those sponsors HOWEVER, there are still more animals that do not have sponsors. This is where you can help out…..
Home for Life depends on donations. You can sponsor an animal. Go to the Home for Life website and click on the How to Help tab for details. Or if you are a professional photographer and would like to help out by photographing animals (as they need photographs monthly) please contact me and I can put you in contact with Home for Life.
Because look at these gentle souls………..

Please check out Home for Life: The Animal Sanctuary of St. Croix Valley
And share this information with animal lovers in your life. This is a fabulous charity and the work they do helps give these animals a whole new life filled with love and kindness. But they need our support. Please consider sponsoring an animal as a gift for this holiday season!! Animals ROCK!
[...] their website and sponsor’s letters. I was happy to help out. If you remember, this fall (click here to see fall visit) was the first time I got to go out and photograph the animals at their home… this time it was [...]
